Mission

The Queen's Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship Conference, QACE (pronounced 'kyu-ace'), strives to inspire young Canadians by providing them with the unique opportunity to meet and learn from today's most innovative business and community leaders.

Overview

  • 3 day student-run conference for delegates looking to embrace the entrepreneurial spirit
  • Focuses on innovation, creativity and identifying new opportunities
  • Features inspiring speakers from emerging & top entrepreneurs
  • 4th largest and one of the fastest growing annual conferences at Queen's University.
  • Queen's School of Business 'Social Entrepreneurship Challenge' where delegates will partake in a competition to utilize their business skill sets to solve relevant social problems of today
  • First conference of the school year held in September 30th - October 2nd
  • Meals/socials provide additional opportunity for relaxed interaction and dialogue between delegates and sponsor representatives

QACE attracts motivated, ambitious students

  • Affiliated with the inter-university organization, Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE-www.acecanada.ca), a national not-for-profit organization promoting entrepreneurship amongst undergraduate students
  • QACE has leveraged this relationship to deliver a dynamic learning experience that encourages leadership, innovation, and community involvement.

QACE 2010

QACE 2010 plans to expand the 'Social Entrepreneurship Challenge' to build on the foundation created by the original conference and.This year, our enthusiastic executive team aims to inspire and provide a forum where delegates will have the opportunity to gain valuable entrepreneurial insight. By providing unique and relevant speakers, dynamic sponsors and a series of exciting social events, QACE 2010 will help young entrepreneurs think in a dynamic, creative manner and establish the skills they need to RISK it
